Transformers 2 (45 MOIs)

The three MOI class gather as a whole for the movie, Transformers 2! It will be a memories for most of us and a journey of friendship. Because of friendship, connection and acceptant of one another, we make it possible to hang out as 45 MOIs. I must say this kind of activity should carry out whenever it is possible because it strengthen our bonding and increase our knowledge of making movies.
Well the movie was indeed nice. There are many effort being put in from the graphic itself, a mixture of animation and real life that look so realistic. Must be a joint production with many big company including the city. From the movie I realise that the Director’s is trying to push or sell his/her story to us in addition of random joke because if we have to listen all the way about the story that will be damn bore for many of us. Therefore a little bit of joke which still make link is the important stage.
After the show we went to City Hall to have our dinner…

Today after having steamboat dinner with family celebrating Father Day’s aka Father Birthday on 18 June, got to watch Street Fighter The Legend of Chun Li and found it quite unoriginal to see American acting as an Asia role. But the fighting action is really there. Comment for this will be quite alike with the Dragon Ball Evolution.

Corpse Bride

Finally get to watch Corpse Bride (2005). It was purely animation with special mood of tone which have reason behind it. I guess during that time when this movie came out, this kind of movie should be very appreciated, cause animating really take times.
I remember there is someone mention about the poster, by looking at the poster you can see the story-line. Well after watch the movie, I think it really make sense. See the protagonists are standing apart with distance and that doesn’t show the wedding sense. Somehow the bride is scare of getting married.

The Uninvited

Just watch The Uninvited and found out that it is not as bore as I use to think. Although the conclusion seen like the audience were being fool, but is all because of the story make sense, thats why we are fool watching a mad murderer telling a story by action.
The story reflect like the movie Hide and Seek if I am not wrong, regarding mentor unstable situation reviled during the conclusion. Therefore it is not really new kind of story flow and using mentor unstable illness is the easiest way out to conclude. Nevertheless, I shall consider this movie as creative too. Cause at last the director still manage to make a twist, which is still reasonable to understand.

PC SHOW 2009

For the pass four days working at PC Show 2009 I encounter different customer once again. Majority of them are friendly as usual, some are typically Singaporean, some are unreasonable and there are some really funny. It was tired working at the endless show for four days. This kind of show really require lots of determination and energy to rise your voice in an appropriate way so as to communicate with customer. I admit some of the customer I serve really make me on fire, but end of the day in order to close sale, self control is needed.
During the first day, sale was bad due to stress on hitting my target. The faster I want to close sale, the lesser sale I get. Therefore I learnt to talk crap with customer and really work. Win-win situation, happy ending. Thinking back, although I close less unit during day 1 but majority of the unit were high end model.
Furthermore, the next day sale increase but lesser on high end model. Third day on the weekend, promoter increase more competition. There is a deal on hitting 30 units each unit addition $1 and none of the promoter manage to hit. Therefore the last day same deal on hitting 30 units but each unit addition $2. Wow, which means $60 for sure if I hit. Luck changes for me and I make it. Sunday was indeed many people till you have problem walking.
I personally can feel that Epson is growing and developing well competing with Canon Pixma. Words of mouth from consumer were better and more people FINALLY aware of Epson the old brand. Projector still number one which bring up the name of Epson. Heard from management that we won a number of award in best promoter, design award, best selling during show and more. During the weekend, there was announcement that a VIP will be coming down to see the Epson booth from Japan.
Wow I have to end off with people looking for printers, please beware of the words from the sale person. They normally like to say Epson print-head on the printer itself with is easily spoilt. In fact they are pushing the negative put to Epson. The fact will be a thermal print-head or known as bubble-jet easier to get spoilt because they using heat transfer so common sense tell you the print-head have a period of changing it. Therefore they said their print-head are attach with the ink, so you change ink equal change print-head, from their mouth they said better. Actually why Epson so different from them, because they invented a new technology called on-demand inkjet or known as piezoelectric which is using electricity to control the ink being push out so there isn’t a need to change print-head, much more durable unlike old print-head thermal. (Epson use to use thermal last time, but change ever since new technology invented) If you think it doesn’t make sense, then you can check it out on their brochure under printer technology or research. This is also the reason why Canon speed is alway slower than Epson. Brother, HP also slower but Canon slowest. Go and see this two brand speed, Canon speed mostly less than 30. Some time it is easier to listen shortcut than the fact cause harder to explain.

The Sims 3

Currently playing this game The Sims 3 from EA. Have been a fan since it first launch The Sims, follow on they upgrade to better graphic at The Sims 2. Apart of that, for each series they also came out with expansion pack to hold our interest back. The most memorable for me will be The Sims Vacation, The Sims Superstar, The Sims Makin’ Magic, The Sims 2 University, The Sims 2 Season and The Sims 2 Pets.
Well lets be up to date and forget about those expansion pack that I have no money to buy and skip on to The Sims 3. Got this Sims 3 pre-order at $74.90. Quite expensive, hopefully it is worth it. I attended the collection party during the 2nd of June. Hah, so funny and I am like an idiot queuing up for the games. Around me I guess about 70% kids/secondary student. Once again Singaporean are damn kiasu, cause they said the first 600 recipient will get a limited edition T-shirt (300 male and 300 female). Collection start at 2pm and I reach there at 2.06pm the T-shirt already gone, and I have to join the snake queue which is damn long.
So far after playing it, I have to comment about the better graphic and faster loading time compare to The Sims 2. Now Sims can go around the town with a map view instead on waiting it to load. We can keep track on Sims at all time. As for changing apartment, quite a many of step to do but the loading time consider fast. The only thing I guess can further improve will be the character design.
The common issue of handling the Sims will be money and mood. Well I would like to share this two cheat which solve the problem. Ctrl+Shift+C, type ‘motherlode’ for money and ‘testingcheatsenabled true’ for pointer to increase mood or relationship to the max.

Currently still in my holiday, well kind of getting bore and run out of idea to spend my time. Also feeling a bit scare that I forgotten when the school start. These few day streaming YouTube and found Korean pop interesting.
At first it is only BoA, follow on I watch all the current singer/band and aware of the different style in different company. Now their focusing into US market. J. Tune Entertainment – Rain, SM Entertainment – BoA, YG Entertainment – SE7EN. Other than that I guess now the famous song will be Nobody from JYP Entertainment Wonder Girl, Number One from YG Entertainment Big Bang, Mirotic from SM Entertainment DBSK/TVXQ, U-go-girl from M-net Hyori Lee, well thats all I notice. Apart from that there is this Wonder Boy from the mixture of different band.
Regarding BoA that seldom appear in Korean but in Japan and now US seen to have a competitor in Korean doing well. It is Hyori Lee from M-net and record said she is the highest paid singer in the market and having the name of the sexiest celebrity. Well what about BoA that seldom touch on Korean? Wonder who is better but one thing for sure is they are good friends.

Exorcist

These day trying to finish watching the three different generation Exorcist. What actually motivate me was the first Exorcist (1973) found, heard from my friend that the movie have a history of all production died. Sometime religion things are hard to explain. Well not very sure about the background story but it was indeed scary even-though it is in the 70s.
Regarding Exorcist the Beginning and The Exorcist of Emily Rose, I see the different in generation and technology. More location for shooting was explore and much more effect added on. The movement is like the black and white film compare to the digital film introduce nowadays. Well the content is as normal about the rights command the devil.

Angels & Demons

Days ago, trying to watch DA VINCI CODE at a better environment without interruption. Therefore I make use of the night while living room was empty with my MacBook connected to the new Plasma TV and off all the light to create a cinema feel. But end up my sitting position changed to laying on the sofa and I really can’t take it anymore which cause me to fall asleep I guess due to I don’t know what was happening in the middle. Haiz…I guess I got to make another day for the movie.
On the other hand, today I went to watch the ANGELS & DEMONS at Iluma cinema. Wow the show was fantastic. Nevertheless I still got to point out the starting part quite boring and again I almost fall asleep, thanks to the sweet popcorn that keep me awake till the middle part where the climax are. It was really well make movie, in terms of the location, creative story-line, history and research. I never know Catholic church have so much underpass and adventure. It is exciting watching the movie. The interaction of the protagonist and the antagonist, the building environment and history information covered. Well I stated creative story-line because there is a twist at the of the movie which is a technic to make interesting or creative story-line taught by TPDS MOI Creative Storytelling.
Throughout the whole movie, at first I got this feeling that the guy wearing in black will be the bad character. Especially when he held a conversation during the election, he is the only outstanding one. Maybe this is a clue from the Director.
